We have a long and well-established history in retail and have been supporting Cornish makers since we opened The Cornish Store in 2004. After being inspired by a trip to Britany where shops were only selling local produce and craft, we wanted to do the same for all the amazing Cornish artisans we have in our beautiful county. We are also extremely proud to be a Flagship Store and the first official Made in Cornwall retailer.

Natures Beeswax

Hi I’m Alexis,

I have been working as a Complementary Therapist for 20 years. I am also an Environmental Scientist with a deep interest in ecology, sustainability and our interaction with our local environment.

I began working with Cornish beeswax in 2017 using wax produced locally by my cousin’s bees. I am now passionate about this beautiful natural product that not only promotes our own personal health and wellbeing but also for our environment too.

As a qualified aromatherapist I have formulated recipes for my Solid Body Moisturising Bar and also my Lip Balm. These products also reduce our reliance on plastic packaging.

Louise Daykin Prints

Hi I’m Louise, owner and designer at Louise Daykin Prints.

I’ve lived in Cornwall since graduating in Illustration at Falmouth. Originally specialising in children’s books, I illustrated for publishers such as Scholastic, Oxford University Press, Mantra, Folens and Unicef.

I have two energetic boys and trade at local shops, craft fairs, markets and take commissions rather than working for art directors! Now I love to work with lino, creating artwork and textiles inspired by Cornwall, my family, and the Coast. A proud Made in Cornwall member.

Mounts bay Distillery

Hi, We are Lisa and Ben,

The couple behind Mounts Bay Distillery, a small family run Cornwall distillery overlooking Mounts Bay.

Our passion for Cornwall and the sea has influenced our distillery massively. We do not use plastics in any of our products packaging and we donate shares of our profits to plastic free seas charities.

Our first Honey Rum is a reflection of our love for Cornwall and the sea, with seaweeds harvested from the low tide shores by ourselves and honey and saffron from cliffs and coves of our Cornwall, and our delicious Cornish Gin combines juniper and coriander with subtle notes of ocean botanicals harvested beneath its surface. A proud Made in Cornwall member.
